Self Education on Yoga

Isn't it gratifying when you stumble on something so delicious like the education on Yoga through avenues like the summit above? I will say, YES!!!
It is truly important to surround yourself with a community of people that can broaden your knowledge with the intention to do good! The summit provides tools that help you understand how Yoga improves our health not only on a cellular level but psychologically as well.
The practice of yoga has been around for thousands of years and the western world though finally embracing it still struggles with supporting evidence that it heals in addition with modern medicine.
I always struggled accepting medication because I was always afraid of getting “hooked” or addicted to any particular medicine so Yoga for me always feels like the safest space to cultivate more wisdom on how to take care of myself. I am. It negating western medicine at all but simply stating that it’s important to marry the two and find what works for you. I hope you dive in and do your own research. Be curious! Seek out more information to help your life become better. Keep growing!!! Start small. It call feel overwhelming but you don’t need to know it all at once.
Seek out a yoga studio or teacher that you are comfortable with and dive in!
